It may sound painful but doctors do it gently so baby doesn t get hurt. Then use another section of the washcloth to wipe away any wax along the outer part of your baby s earlobe. Ask pretty much any pediatrician and they will likely tell you the best way to clean baby ears is with a washcloth. Wet the washcloth or cotton ball with warm water.
